The application is submitted online through the Electronic Sea Desk (BMar):
1. Open www.bmar.pt, please register and log in.
2. Press the New Request button, choose the following category "Professional Fishing" and Request type "ANI - Cane Fishing Licensing at PNSACV".
3. Fill in the required data.
4. Attach the documents requested in the fields provided for this purpose.
5. Check your request summary and submit the application.
Note: The vacancy can only be assigned after availability. This expression of interest is only valid for the current year, and must be repeated whenever you want to express interest.

Copy of the Crew List or other document issued by the Captaincy that proves that it is part of the crew list of a local vessel, for the purposes of applying the priority criteria.
- Tax domicile declaration issued by the Tax and Customs Authority
- Registration with the Tax and Customs Authority for harvesting activity (03112) or (03111).
- Proof of training, for a minimum of 25 hours, provided by the Fisheries and Maritime Professional Training Center (FOR-MAR), in the areas of maritime safety, basic knowledge of marine resource management, and environmental protection and sustainability practices.
If representative:
- Statement or power of attorney from the holder (a mandatory document to initiate the process).
If representative of an entity:
- Statement legal representative of an entity (a mandatory document to initiate the process).
NOTE: In the following year, during the license renewal process, it is necessary to submit the Capture Manifest.
