FrameworkThe DGRM Code of Conduct complies with Decree-Law no. 109-E/2021, of December 9, which establishes the General Corruption Prevention Regime (RGPC), and aims to provide all its recipients and recipients, a clear and understandable vision of the behavior and attitudes to be adopted in the course of fulfilling the DGRM mission, in order to promote an ethical and constructive organizational climate, appropriate to achieving the established objectives, with respect to the principles of public service, responsibility social, equality, conciliation and sustainable development, by satisfying the legitimate interests of those involved and by developing a healthy environment.
It is also the objective of the DGRM Code of Conduct to make all relevant external entities aware of the values ??that guide DGRM's actions, as well as the rules of conduct arising from them, in order to promote relationships of trust and reinforce the culture and the identity of this Directorate-General as the entity responsible for the role of Portuguese Maritime Administration, National Fisheries Authority and National Maritime Space Planning and Sustainability Authority.
