The application must be submitted within a maximum period of 12 months from the date on which it is impossible to carry out fishing for:

• Public health reasons or environmental protection;
  Reasons for preserving or managing resources.

Fishermen licensed for pedestrian fishing and catchers of marine animals, holders of a valid license, when exercising the activity on an exclusive basis.

The application form is available at "Execute Service", and must be delivered to the Direção-Geral de Recursos Naturais, Segurança e Serviços Marítimos (DGRM), by hand, via CTT or by email to:mail.df@dgrm.mm.gov.pt.

• Declaration of consent to DGRM, NIF 600084973, of access to the website of the Tax and Customs Authority for consultation of the tax situation and to the website of the Institute of Informatics and Statistics of Social Security, I.P, for consultation of the contributory situation.

• Updated statement proving the situation to be regularized before the Tax and Customs Authority;
• Updated statement proving the situation regularized before Social Security;
• Proof of registration in the fishing activity (group 031 of the CAE);
• Extract of remunerations and or equivalences registered in the applicant's name with Social Security, valid for the year (s) in which the stop occurs;
• Photocopy of the IRS Declaration referring to the year of the stoppage or in the absence of this document, the last Declaration delivered;
• Document proving the IBAN of the account to which the amount of support to be allocated will be transferred.
