For the due purposes and taking into account the catch data for swordfish – North stock (SWO/AN05N) (Xiphias gladius) in the Atlantic Ocean, north of 5°N, we hereby inform you that the quota utilisation has reached 80% and that it may be necessary to close this fishery in the near future.
