Please be informed that, as usual, in the process of automatic renewal of professional fishing licenses for the year 2025 under article 40 of Decree-Law No. 73/2020, of September 23, the sales period of 01/2020 will be considered. 07/2023 to 06/30/2024, and for said renewal it will be necessary to have carried out a minimum value of auction sales, which must be equivalent to 5 times the minimum monthly remuneration (760€ X5)) for collectors of marine animals and dismounted fishermen and for vessels, depending on the minimum crew, but with a minimum of 12 times the minimum monthly salary.

Additionally, it is informed that in accordance with paragraph 5 of article 40 of Decree-Law nº 73/2020, of September 23, the renewal is conditional on the response by the owners/shipowners of the vessels to the survey to collect data in the sector of fishing provided for in Regulation (EU) No. 2017/1004, of the European Parliament, of May 17, 2017, to be made available, during the month of July, by the DGRM.

It is essential to comply with the requirements mentioned above (data collection applies exclusively to vessels) for the renewal of fishing licenses for 2025.

As usual, anyone who meets the requirements will receive a payment reference in time.
