Notice is hereby given of the exceptional amendment to the 48-hour ban on catching sardines by purse seine for the weekend of June 22 and 23, prior to São João (June 24), in the following areas of jurisdiction:

• in the area of jurisdiction of the Captaincies of the Olhãopesca and Barlapescas reconnaissance ports, from 6 pm on Saturday (June 22) to 6 pm on Monday (June 24) - Captaincies of Olhão, Faro, Tavira, Vila Real de Santo António, Lagos and Portimão.
   
• in the area of jurisdiction of the Captaincies of the Propeixe, Apropesca and Vianapesca reconnaissance ports, from 00:00 on Sunday (June 23) to 00:00 on Tuesday (June 25) - Captaincies of Leixões, Douro, Póvoa do Varzim, Vila do Conde, Viana do Castelo and Caminha.
