Order No. 20/DG/2024, of April 19, was published, establishing for 2024, a closed season for Donax clams (Donax spp.), between May 1 and June 15, in the South zone (delimited to the north by the line coast and along the parallel that passes through the Cabo de São Vicente lighthouse and to the east along the limit of the territorial sea), regardless of the utensil or gear used in the capture.
