The dredging operation of the Port of Vila Praia de Âncora is underway.
The sediments to be dredged fall into class 1 – clean dredged material, foreseeing their immersion in the marine environment, in the location near the coast defined in the Maritime Spatial Planning Situation Plan (#PSOEM), thus contributing to the feeding of the littoral drift.
The expected execution period is 1 month, if sea conditions are met that allow the work to be carried out and the dredged items to be transported to the immersion zone.
This dredging is part of the multiannual maintenance dredging contract for fishing ports in the North.
