This Friday the AG for the Expansion Works of the Port of Leixões met in Leça da Palmeira, with the aim of discussing and updating the status of interventions, intermediate monitoring and assessing the need for additional actions to mitigate the impact of same.

The work to extend the breakwater at the Port of Leixões by another 300 meters is at the heart of this AG's mission, allowing for a joint approach in the discussion of issues that must be analyzed throughout the entire implementation of the work. Complementarily, the maritime accessibility works, however completed, and the new terminal, are part of the set of expansion works that have been the object of GA action.

The meeting was very fruitful and made it possible to address actions of a different nature so that the important works take place with as little impact as possible. The GA will meet again next September.
