DGRM participated in the APREN annual conference, under the theme “Energy Transition - from plans to action“, which took place on the 16th and 17th of November, at the Culturgest Grand Auditorium, in Lisbon.

On behalf of the DGRM, André Couto, Head of the Environmental Monitoring Division, took part, who presented the national path of offshore renewable energies, as well as the competences attributed by law to the DGRM in terms of Planning the National Maritime Space.

The Conference also addressed the Government's recent decision to set up the Working Group for Offshore Renewable Energies, whose works by the various subgroups are already in progress, and will allow Portugal to be positioned on a new level of electricity production from from the sea.
