The Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Security and Maritime Services informs that the period of Public Consultation of the Report of the Program of Measures of Marine Strategies 2nd cycle for the four national subdivisions - Azores, Mainland, Madeira and Extended Continental Shelf, corresponding to the update of articles 13 and 14 of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (DQEM), will take place between 11/02/2022 and 12/03/2022.

The implementation of the DQEM Program of Measures is essential to maintain the good environmental status of Portuguese marine waters.
