The 5th edition of the Sea Fair began today in Sines, which takes place inside the city's castle and lasts until the 14th of October.

At the opening ceremony, the Secretary of State for the Sea, José Maria Costa, highlighted the national agenda for the Blue Economy through the National Strategy for the Sea, as well as the investments and regional initiatives of the Alentejo Coast.

As mentioned by the fair's organization, the event's main objective is to promote the development of the Blue Economy and the collaboration of the most diverse actors working on the theme of the Sea, involving companies, research centers, organizations and entities with activities of regional and national.
