On June 8, 2022, the “Conference on Marine simulator training and sustainable shipping” took place at Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH).

Cláudia Lauro, Head of the Information Systems Division, represented the Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Security and Maritime Services, presenting the evolution of the Portuguese port sector, and the case of the Portuguese Maritime e-Administration.

The conference took place within the scope of the #MARineSIM project - Training for maritime courses - which consists of the acquisition of modern and advanced maritime simulators for the training of officers for the national and international merchant navy, thus reinforcing the training capacity of ENIDH. The #MARineSIM project is funded by EEA Grants.
