Decree-law no. 31/2021, of 31 May, establishes the legal framework applicable to the protection and conservation of wild flora and fauna and of the natural habitats of the species listed in Annexes I, II and III of the Berne Convention, in Annexes I and II of the Bonn Convention and in the Annex to this Decree-law, of which it is an integral part. 
Particular attention is drawn to the prohibition of the capture of sea cucumbers (Holothuroidea), seahorses (Syngnathidae) and red coral, black coral and stony coral (Anthozoa spp.).
