 Description

It uses several simple utensils. It can be practiced by an individual, whether or not using a support vessel and snorkelling equipment.

 
Features

Various utensils can be used such as the knife for clam, the mattock with short cable, the net used to catch cockles and the spatula.

Bivalves, gastropods, echinoderms, polychaetes and crustaceans.

 
 Area of action

No special restrictions are foreseen, and the duly licensed catcher may operate in the area of ??jurisdiction of the Captaincy of his residence and adjacent areas.

 
 Other constraints

The fishing for bivalves between 1st May and 15th June (in oceanic and inland waters) is prohibited.
